The program practices at PLAY Preschool are based on our beliefs about how children learn and deserve to be treated. The importance of families is paramount to a successful school environment, as well as the role of teachers in making it all happen.
PLAY strives to educate young children about the world and people who inhabit it.
It is our philosophy that children learn at their own pace with the help and guidance of an experienced and educated staff.
It is our belief that children naturally grow through interactions amongst themselves where the environment around them is nurturing, safe and natural. Young children’s developmental tasks are designed to build trust, learn social skills, construct their knowledge of the physical and social world, and develop positive self esteem. These tasks are best supported by our program which provides developmentally appropriate activities, well trained and consistent staff, and a safe, healthy and challenging learning environment.
